Greece will be a good reason to sell off. There are a lot of surprises in this market. Everything is counterintuitive in 2012. One thing to keep in mind is that when you have a growing economy, you can trade on your own momentum. Growth allows you to analyze individual companies that are doing well, irrespective of Europe.
This market is like the 80s and 90s. Coke could be at 30, then 60, then 90, then 120. There was a radical revaluation of stocks. Because interest rates are so low, people are going to start to realize that Coke is a better bet than the United States.
What will happen is that people will begin to realize that dividends are important.
